The subtle curved features guide the daylight, amplifying the aesthetics accompanied by textured paint and wood grain. Blending the storage into the walls and furniture to build a clutter-free home, the renovation of the open plan constructs an explicit living flow that lends seamlessly from one space into another, bestowing the couple a space for unwinding.
// AMIDST THE CLOUD //
Storage seamlessly melds into the walls and furniture, unlocking further possibilities in the living space to remain as a clutter-free home. The meandering light troughs bring out an inviting atmosphere, distinct from daytime, and casts a gentle glow that evokes calm and peace. The curved elements in the apartment guide the daylight as it radiates through the interior, adorning the unevenness caused by the structural changes and amplifying the overall aesthetics of the space. The simplicity of textured paint and wood grain could yet captivate the senses sophisticatedly.
A slightly bent beige television wall with a piece of marble matches the original brownish-grey colour of the room doors, leading to the master bedroom, which is constructed with a curved wall with a moss green bed back, embracing the sleeping place.
Connected by the undulating curves of the cabinet, the room next door is turned into a walk-in cabinet, creating a seamless flow between the two spaces. A pair of movable rattan panels was installed in the semi-open closet, maintaining visual cleanliness and high accessibility while incorporating the earthy beige tone of the bedroom.
